OVERVIEW

As part of Costco’s Web E-commerce team, I contributed to a wide range of digital design initiatives, from seasonal campaigns to evergreen brand experiences. My work spanned advertising, digital marketing, promotional content, and member engagement assets, all crafted to align with Costco’s brand values of clarity, consistency, and accessibility. The goal was to create a process that supported immediate campaign needs but also empowered the team with reusable tools for future projects.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advertising & Marketing Assets: I designed visual assets for advertising campaigns, seasonal promotions, and member-exclusive offers. Each piece was tailored to maximize impact while maintaining a consistent look and feel across Costco’s digital ecosystem.
  • Reusable Design Systems: To ensure efficiency and brand cohesion, I collaborated closely with leadership to establish accessible, reusable components in Figma and Photoshop. These systems streamlined design production, supported cross-team alignment, and reduced time-to-market for campaign launches.
  • Template Development: I created standardized Figma and Photoshop templates that assisted team members with their design process and proofing workflows. These templates helped scale production while maintaining quality and adherence to Costco’s design guidelines.
  • Landing Page Design & Development: I designed and built HTML/CSS brand showcase landing pages for third-party vendors, seasonal campaigns, and evergreen content. Each page was optimized for consistency, responsiveness, and ease of navigation, ensuring a seamless member experience.
  • CMS Implementation: Leveraging Costco’s CMS, I developed and published promotional landing pages that supported marketing initiatives and vendor partnerships, ensuring campaigns were delivered on time and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Email Marketing Design: I designed and produced Costco’s email marketing assets, creating compelling visuals to drive member engagement and click-through rates.

IMPACT

Through these initiatives, I contributed to a more scalable and efficient design process while enhancing the member experience across digital touchpoints. The introduction of reusable Figma and Photoshop components improved team efficiency by an estimated 25–30%, allowing campaigns to launch faster without compromising brand consistency. My landing page work not only elevated vendor showcases but also supported increased engagement during seasonal promotions, driving higher visibility for featured products.
